National Volunteer Week


April 9th 2019 – The Canadian Blind Sports Association recognizes the dedication and commitment of the many volunteers who devote their time and energy to our organization. Volunteers are involved in many facets of the Association. Their participation is essential to the success of our teams Provincially, Nationally and Internationally.

Sport and Recreation Pathways Survey for LTAD


CBSA has undertaken a project to outline the sport and recreation pathways taken by Canadians who are blind, visually impaired, or partially sighted. We are seeking the input from a wide range of stakeholders with an extensive survey. (more…)

Canadian Blind Sports Receives NextGen Program Support


It is with great enthusiasm that Canadian Blind Sports announces that we have received funding from the Canadian Paralympic Committee (CPC) and Canadian Heritage – Sport Canada, based on a recommendation made by Own The Podium for a Next Generation project in the 2017-2018 season.
