Canadian Blind and Partially Sighted Athletes in Tokyo this Weekend


The Women’s National Goalball team traveled to Japan earlier this week. They will spend the next 12 days training in Sapporo before traveling to Tokyo for the Paralympic Games. The team take to the court this weekend playing their first exhibition match with Japan.

The exhibition game will take place August 15 (14:30 JST) and you can catch the action live on Goalball Japan’s YouTube channel:

Six goalball athletes named to Tokyo 2020 Canadian Paralympic Team


Ottawa, June 24, 2021 – The Canadian women’s goalball team is preparing to compete at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games this summer, as the Canadian Paralympic Committee (CPC) and Canadian Blind Sports Association (CBSA) announced today the six athletes named to the Canadian Paralympic Team roster.
