AAP Recommendations


Sept 10, 2020 – With COVID-19 drawing everything to a halt in March, Canadian Blind Sports have not been able to run any camps or testing for the upcoming cycle. Working in partnership with Sport Canada, Canadian Blind Sports have had to significantly revise the Carding process.

As a result, the 2020-2021 AAP Recommendations will take place over two installments:

• Phase 1 – October 1st, 2020 – January 31st, 2021
• Phase 2 – February 1st, 2021 – December 31st, 2021

Following athlete testing in January 2021, Canadian Blind Sports will make the remaining recommendations to Sport Canada.

The 2020-2021 (Phase 1) AAP Recommendations are as follows:

Women:
Abeer Hammad: 4 Months – Senior
Amy Burk: 4 Months – Senior
Brieann Baldock: 4 Months – Development
Emma Reinke: 4 Months – Senior
Genevieve Hart: 4 Months – Development
Haley Olinyk: 4 Months – Development
Meghan Mahon: 4 Months – Senior
Tiana Knight: 4 Months – Senior
Whitney Bogart: 4 Months – Senior

Men:
Aaron Prevost: 4 Months – Development
Ahmad Zeividavi: 4 Months – Senior
Blair Nesbitt: 4 Months – Senior
Brice Parker: 4 Months – Development
Bruno Haché: 4 Months – Senior
Doug Ripley: 4 Months – Senior
Mason Smith: 4 Months – Development
Peter Parsons: 4 Months – Senior
