Athlete Assistance Plan Announcement

Dear PSO, Board Members and Athletes:

Please see below the announcement of the carding recommendations for 2013-2014 carding cycle. Please note that the carding cycle has changed this year and will be 15 months long and will run from July 1, 2013 – September 30, 2014. For the future the cycle will be October 1 – September 30. Athletes will receive an amendment to their Athlete Agreement to reflect this new time period, this must be signed and returned to Canadian Blind Sports.

Please note that the carding allocation from Sport Canada has been revised
o Goalball Men-6 Senior cards (15 months) or equivalent $135,000
o Goalball Women-6 Senior cards (15 months) or equivalent $135,000
