Canadian Women Win Gold at IBSA Americas Goalball

Canadian Womens Goalball Team goes undefeated at the 2017 IBSA Americas Goalball Championship to win the Gold Medal and secure a spot at the 2018 World Goalball Championships in Malmo, Sweden from June 3-9, 2018.

The Canadian Men are IBSA Americas Bronze medalists, defeating Argentina 6-3!!! They have now qualified for the 2018 IBSA Goalball World Champions in Malmo, Sweden, June 3-9, 2018.

Saturday’s action:
In the semi-finals: the Canadian men succumbed to the strong offence and staunch defence of Paralympic Bronze medalists Brazil, 5-0.
The Canadian Women’s Team defeated Mexico 11-2 in the semi-final.
