Audio Description Live in Venues at the Rio 2016 Paralympics

Spectators in Venue in Rio at the 2016 Paralympic Games can listen to radio/audio live descriptions of the events by tuning in to specified FM Radio stations on their Radio or phone.

Information is available at the information desks at each venue. Descriptions quickly alternate between English and Portuguese on each station.

Canadian Blind Sports compliments the Rio 2016 Organizing Committee for making this service available. The commentaries are well presented and provide additional useful information to both sighted and visually impaired listeners.
