AAP support

Dear CBSA Provincial Members and National Team Athlete Pool,

Canadian Blind Sports would like to announce the following recommendations; these athletes will receive additional AAP support for the current carding cycle. This completes the recommendations for CBSA’s regularly allocated funding for the Women’s program. The funding recommendations for the Men’s program have already been finalized.

With the current climate and uncertainly around when normal life will resume, these additional funds will help athletes maintain performance levels throughout this pandemic. The National Team program will resume in October (within the COVID-19 Guidelines) with a very busy schedule planned leading into Tokyo 2021; we are very excited to see what this group can achieve.

The recommendations are as follows:
Brieanne Baldock   6 months DC (+ 2 months DC)
Gen Hart     6 months DC (+ 2 months DC)
Emma Reinke   11 months (+ 1 month)
Ruby Soliman   11 months (+ 1 month)

Please direct any questions to James Thompson.

Thanks,

James Thompson
